Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My best friend and I were in NYC and wanted to get a special matching tattoo. IGLA was able to book us both with Ariana and she was INCREDIBLE. She created a beautiful and meaningful tattoo for us and was an absolute pleasure. She was so great that I got second one on the spot. The studio was quaint, clean and welcoming. We will be back for sure!!!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Ariana was the best! The tattoo I received from her is now my favorite tattoo and it is all because of the quality of her work! She was so detailed, knowledgeable, and overall a cool person. In sketching out the piece, she really took the time to ask questions and ensure it was exactly what I was looking for. I loved the detail in shading that she added too. She checked in with me often to make sure I was feeling good throughout. She made me feel very comfortable and it was great chatting with her. I absolutely love my tattoo and I will definitely be coming back to her for more.

Frequently Asked Questions

About Anime Tattoos

Can you tattoo my favorite anime character exactly as it appears?

Yes — we can replicate your favorite character with a high level of accuracy. Our artists pay close attention to the fine details that define anime art, such as facial expressions, line weight, and color palettes. Whether it’s a frame from a classic series or an iconic movie scene, we can create a custom anime tattoo in NYC that stays true to the original design.

Do you offer color anime tattoos in NYC?

Absolutely! While we’re known for our fine line and black-and-grey work, we also create full-color anime tattoos NYC collectors love. Using vibrant, high-quality pigments, we can match the energy and brightness of anime art so your tattoo looks just as bold on your skin as it does on screen.

How much detail can you fit in a small anime tattoo?

Small anime tattoos can still capture impressive detail, but there are limits. For tiny designs, we recommend focusing on bold outlines, simplified features, or chibi-style characters to ensure clarity over time. Our artists will guide you on the right sizing and placement so your tattoo ages beautifully.

Do anime tattoos fade faster than other styles?

Like all tattoos, anime tattoos can fade over time, especially in areas exposed to the sun. However, using strong pigments, proper application, and correct aftercare will help maintain their vibrancy. We’ll give you detailed instructions to keep your anime tattoo NYC looking sharp for years.

Do I need to bring a reference image for my anime tattoo?

While not required, bringing a reference image helps us match your vision perfectly. If you don’t have one, our artists can source official artwork or design a custom interpretation. Whether you come in with a clear concept or just an idea, we’ll make sure your anime tattoo in NYC reflects your style.
