MEET Holly

Holly is the artist name of Olya, a fine line tattoo artist from Ukraine working at IGLÀ Tattoo Studio in Midtown Manhattan, NYC. She began tattooing in 2023 and later moved to New York to continue her work.

Her style is delicate and distinctly feminine, with X-ray botanicals, ornament, and microrealism among her main interests. Flowers appear often, but Holly is drawn to more than their beauty. She looks for the feeling hidden underneath the form.

Artist story

My name is Olya, but in the tattoo world, I’m Holly.

I’m originally from Ukraine, where I started tattooing in 2023. Art has always helped me express the things I can’t explain easily. Sometimes an image can hold a feeling more honestly than a sentence can. That is what first drew me to delicate work.

I love elegance, femininity, and natural forms. Flowers are especially interesting to me because they can look simple at first, yet still carry something deeper. Over time, fine lines, X-ray botanicals, ornament, and microrealism became the visual language that felt most like my own.

Moving to New York opened a very different chapter. I began meeting clients from countries and cultures I had never encountered before. Each person arrived with a story, and no two ideas came from quite the same place.

That personal exchange is now one of the most important parts of my work. I’m grateful when someone trusts my artistic vision, but I also want the finished piece to feel like theirs. Beautiful, yes, but connected to something real.

Specialization

Holly specializes in fine line, X-ray botanical tattoos, ornamental work, and microrealism. Her pieces often have a soft, feminine quality, with delicate linework and carefully arranged details.

Flowers are among her favorite subjects. She is drawn to their elegance and natural forms, particularly when a botanical design can express something beyond its surface beauty. Holly’s approach is subtle rather than loud. She creates personal compositions for clients who want their tattoos to feel refined, expressive, and closely connected to the ideas behind them.

How We Start

Holly begins with the personal idea behind the tattoo. She listens to what the client wants to express, then considers how that feeling could take shape through botanical imagery, ornament, or another delicate composition.

The consultation gives them space to discuss both the meaning and the visual direction before Holly develops the idea into a custom design.
